DeleteAgain, I like Tulane -3.5 vs Marshall at 9:30PM. We lost going against Marshall last week, but this bad team was shooting out of their mind. Against Southern Miss, Marshall shot 50% on 3 pointers (20% above their average), and a whopping 77% from the stripe where they are normally a 60% FT shooting club.
ReplyDeleteMarshall is still one of the worst ATS teams in the nation (6-19-1) this season. Tulane isn't great, but they are better than Marshall. And a key here is THEY are a good FT shooting team (72%), which makes a difference in these close spreads. Marshall couldn't stop them earlier this year, as Tulane pounded them 91-75 on Feb 6th. And in that game they controlled Marshall's 3 point shots (25%) unlike Southern Miss last week. Away from their home court (though it's not a home game for Tulane either), Marshall has managed one straight up win all season, going 1-11. ATS they are 2-10.
I'm rolling with Tulane and laying the small wood of what is now 3 points.
I know I've been a tad chilly of late, but this is the one game I'm looking at. Is it a guarantee? Nope. Nothing ever is. But I'll always side with the numbers and trends. Though since I've been cold, unless others agree with me, I don't blame the group for not going with me until I heat up a bit.
