I heard paul George has a messed up finger, and david west is banged up. devin harris hurt his foot today so we may have to wait until we know who is playing or pass on this altogether. I am only seeing a line for 3 out of 6 games so might have to wait until tomorrow and see where a value is.

FWIW I feel going forward we need to play 1-2 gms max ! no exceptions ! 3 or more gm's decreases the %'s a ton. Blang has been streaky but a consistent fade over the years, Shit has proven he can handicapp the NBA & you see Atkins lost again he is the best fade right now period ! hands down ! if Hondo returns for baseball no disrespect to anyone here but I will be fading Hondo/Atkins as my 1-2 option. Its funny, but SHK's free plays do better than his paid plays. I have seen that sooo many times before. It happened to Lang for weeks on end for awhile. His free plays hit it day after day but his big plays all went down the toilet, LOL. Has something to do with psychology I think.

ReplyDeleteIf a guy going to Vegas with a big bankroll Friday morning picked up Rosica's package because everybody on the forums said he was the hottest handicapper out there, look at his losses, BEFORE the cost of the handicapping package, air fare, hotel, etc. etc:
Say the guy has a $100,000 bankroll (relatively high roller but I even doubt he would get comped a room in Vegas just betting sports with that bankroll). Say the guy uses decent money management for his 3 day trip, say 1,000 dimes total. Sounds reasonable huh.
RESULTS OF HIS 3 DAY TRIP:
Beginning bankroll $100,000
Friday loss (trying to win 80 dimes) -8,800
Saturday loss (trying to win 100 dimes) -11,000
Sunday loss (trying to win 75 dimes) - 8,250
Our gambler's loss on the weekend totals $28,050 or 28% of his bankroll. That is using decent money management.
I see it all the time. New guy shows up for the weekend at the sports book and he has a plan. Guy goes away with his ass handed to him. God help him if he goes to the table on top of his sports book losses.

DeleteI remember one guy showed up at the sports book. He loved to bet craps, blackjack and heavy heavy baseball favorites. He had just gotten a big inheritance. They upgraded his players card after a day of action and put him up in a suite. Bunch of the guys became friends with him and the casino comped the guy like crazy. We were eating lobster and crab legs with fine wine after watching a couple games. We could not spend his comps fast enough. Sometimes a plain hamburger tastes better than lobster or steak.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, after he lost a good chunk of change, we smartened him up. Don't get drunk and go to the tables. Don't parlay. Don't bet these heavy baseball favorites. We gave him some decent baseball picks, even some underdogs that won. We got lucky for a few days and he started making some good money. He stayed away from the tables too. But the comps kept flowing until he got woken up like at 7 in the morning in his nice comped suite by security and he was asked to move immediately to this little room, LOL.
