ReplyDeleteMorning guys. Last night my wife wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat dinner. I thought that this is great. I could watch all 5 games at one time. When we got there I was bitterly disappointed. The only games they had on (on a million f'n tv's) is the Southern Miss game and the NBA game (I hate watching basketball games that I have the under on; call it superstition but it seems like everything goes in the basket). However they did have an Alabama-Auburn game on (from 1982) as well as a damn soccer game on the biggest tv in the house. I take blame for the losing day yesterday as it was a bad day in my world.

But then he lost on the Portland Trailblazers and said the game was fixed afterwords, lol. He deleted that comment later but I wondered about the guy ever since. He does a lot of hockey. Interesting dude.

Okay, here's what I like today.
ReplyDeleteGeorgetown +1 vs Villanova. 7PM. G'town riding an 11 game winning streak. They are 6-2 ATS on the road this season, and have won ATS on the road vs tough teams like Syracuse and Marquette.
Miami Fla -13 vs Georgia Tech. 9PM. Miami is excellent at home 9-4 ATS. Coming off their tough 3 pt road loss to Duke (though we covered with them), I think they come back and take it out on a disappointing Yellow Jacket team that is 3-6 ATS on the road.
Oklahoma -10.5 vs West Virginia. 9PM. The Sooners are 11-2 at home ATS and we've already cashed on them last week with an easy cover vs Iowa St. They are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games. West Va on the other hand just got plowed in their last game, on the road, vs Kansas. In a strange anomaly, this will be the erd time this season that WV has played Oklahoma, as they met in an early season tourney. They lost and didn't cover back on Nov. 25th, and got blown out by 20 on Jan 5th at WV. Both times WV was the favorite. So much for linemakers. I look for a double digit win by the Sooners tonight.
Thoughts?
BTW - Slats - Buffalo Wild Wings are supposed to change channels for you. Next time get the manager and if they refuse, get the name of the District Manager. Personally, I'd call and complain. That's BULL SHIT. The first thing I did last night was ask then to switch 2 TVs. One to 619 and the other to 209 so I could watch both Southern Miss and Notre Dame. They always switch for me with no trouble. That's what they are SUPPOSED to do. Seriously - I'd pitch a bitch.

Iowa State over 147.5 (pace should be there(similar to Ark/Missou last night... as long as the 3's drop I see this game in the high 70's)
Miami -12.5 (solid team, a team that is not in this situation often not about to let down) (Coach Larannaga will have them focused as they prepare for the conference tournament)
Xavier +4 (tough at home... i like them getting points at home and not a big fan of St. Louis on the road even though they did get it done a few weeks back at Butler).
These are more gut picks sprinkled in with a little factual information...

I saw this play and made the comments that I thought personally the gamecocks could cover this game. I had looked at this earlier. So I thought we needed time to discuss it and reach a consensus.
But by the time we had posted it there would of been no time for a brick and mortar sports book bettor here in Nevada to bet it. So it would not be a "real" game to bet. I feel like we need to give folks at least 40 minutes from posting to be able to bet a game.

ReplyDeleteProblem I do have is I read a Federal Judge's order here in Nevada and he mentioned my forum posting name. Fade Nation had sued a customer of theirs in Virginia and the judge basically said the lawsuit was moot because the parties were not in his jurisdiction. Thats all I need is some bogus lawsuit from some shysters out for extortion.
