Notes:

I will look at RAS today, but if I post his picks I will be more selective with the picks and the timing of the release although the sudden line movement did not hurt us yesterday. My sports monitor only lets me pick certain lines, I can not specify the line so that is now very misleading with the RAS line movements. But I will still use them. Indian Cowboy is very good with his 6* so that is why those bets are twice the amount of the CBB 4* bets. It paid off with that Spurs bet over the Lakers last night giving us most of our profit yesterday. Trace Adams has lost his last two paid picks and I have him in fade mode now. The Fader posting Trace's picks is now posting them again after the Fade Nation harasser was dealt with.

Don't feel bad Trace, I lost $567 yesterday on the Jayhawks. I was fading the Mighty Quinn's newspaper play. Please post Trace's play as I have him in Fade Mode after Monday night. If I known he was on Kansas, I may not have bet it yesterday. Trace is the most streakiest handicapper out there. His free play is on Whiskey. Trace is on Ohio U., so we are all over Ball State as the Trace Adams Fade Pick. Thanks UZI!

Wednesday's Selection ...

For Wednesday night in college football, Top-Rated Winner #20 of 32 will be the visiting Ohio U Bobcats as the underdog against the host Ball State Cardinals. As of 8:00 am eastern when I release this selection, the Bobcats are +6 point dogs in Muncie tonight.

Just get the feeling that this is a little too many points for the surging Cardinals to cover. Yes, Ball State did win and cover their 4th in a row last week against Top-25 rated Toledo, but that Cardinals defense did show plenty of "give" in that game, and the Bobcats are a team that is capable of exploiting that "give" and making things close once again in this rivalry.

The last 2 meetings have seen the road team walk away with the field goal win, and then their is the fact that State's last 6 wins read like this: 2pts, 4pts, 6pts in OT, 9pts, 8pts, & 7pts. Kinda close wouldn't you say?

The Cards are 2-0 against the spread this season when installed as the home favorite, but just 3-5 in that role overall the past 4 seasons. Meanwhile, the Bobcats are listed as the underdog for just the 2nd time this year - the 1st was an outright win at Penn State on the first week of the year. Frank Solich's team has excelled in the underdog role, going 11-4-1 as the road pup since the 2008 campaign.

No doubt the momentum in this game rests on the side of the host, but this impost is just a little too high for my liking. This one very well could be decided once again by another field goal.

Take the Bobcats plus the points.

  4. Rick,
Still following along. Sticking to the money mgmt skills.
I appreciate all the picks posted on the blog.
Not a big hoops guy, so it makes it fun to know I have partners who are rooting for the most obscure teams.

  5. Navy-

Glad you are following. I see some of the wins here are covering the spread by huge amounts. You got to strike while the odds makers are still trying to figure college basketball out. Even with the lines moving against us, we can still win, or so it appears!

Glad you are still following and appreciate your comments as always.
