SUNDAY: 55 DIMES LOST ON THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS -3 OVER THE NEW YORK GIANTS IN THE SUPER BOWL

This is just another football game! Well, maybe not. I am betting the majority of my profits from yesterday on the Super Bowl. Naturally if Mr. Lang and the public is big on the Giants, I am big on the Patriots, but not that big. I have 5.5% of the bankroll at risk today. Try to get the best line possible, I know I will as I venture out today to the books. Good luck!

ITS 6:52 AM EASTERN SUNDAY - BRANDON LANG FADE PLAY: 50 Dimes on the New England Patriots - 3 against the New York Giants playing in Superbowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Indiana at 6:30 PM EST., Bet $5,059 (50 X $101.18), grading this at -3 -110 but you should be able to get a better line than that easy. Try to get -2 1/2 if you can but I always try to post about the worst line out there conceivable, as always shop around. RESULTS: Lost $5,059

After losing 50 dimes yesterday, Mr. Lang wants his clients to put up 200 dimes on the Giants +3. He acts like no one knows what his Super Bowl pick is, hell its been out there for days now. RESULTS: Mr. Lang wins his big bet confirming he is the King of the Super Bowl. Here is today's video:

Lang Fader Al "The Hook" DeMarco likes the Pats -2 1/2 (buy the hook if you have to) for ten dimes. The Hook makes a good point that this is just another game for betting purposes. Don't go overboard on this game. Al's free pick was Michigan State -7 at home over Michigan which won:

GoFalcons! Thanks. I see you are following Indian Cowboy closely on his college basketball. We both posted his pick at the same time on the IC follow blog, lol. I had to make an additional bet today on the Spartans, too bad we only got an hour notice. Good to see you on top of a winner here. You can't argue with a 13-1 run. Good luck to you GoFalcons!

This is an informational blog for Nevada residents only. Please feel free to make comments. If you think I am full of it, tell me! I hope this blog is helpful and entertaining and even possibly profitable to you. I will never tell you to bet a hockey game! Can I tell you the secret to sports betting in two words? Money management. One thing I know for sure, you are here and you are reading this. You are a winner!

My rules for sports betting:

As you win, your bets per dime should go up. As you lose, your bets per dime will go down. This automatically adjusts for runs or streaks. You should bet more when you are winning and bet less when you are losing. This rule does not apply to Labby Lines.

ALWAYS get the best line. Shop Around. Get up early. Have multiple outs. This is critical to long-term success, you have to do the work. Never play at a sports book which is known for not paying winners, make sure your sports book is not on the Black List. For grading purposes, we will grade all plays as what is most available to players. So don't be surprised if I change the line during the day for grading purposes, IF the line goes against me.

Use 1,000 dimes. Have the biggest bankroll you can put together. Most of the money you can just keep in the bank. But it has to be there to withstand any severe downturn. This is money you can afford to lose.

Never pay for a pick or bet based on what a paid tout says. You know I am giving you my best opinion, because I am not selling you anything! Help your hungry neighbor if you want to give money to someone. You need to have a filtering process to beat the vig. You got to win more than you lose.

If you ever get the urge to bet on a hockey game, lay down till the urge passes.

If you hit a winning streak and get ahead a lot, consider taking your original bankroll off the table and playing with just the profits. As night follows day, a good winning streak can be followed by a bad one.

Watch for fishy lines in college basketball in small leagues, such as the Horizon League. If several casinos have this off the board and the line moves so that it crosses zero stay off the game or consider betting which way the money is flowing. It may turn into a very entertaining game to watch in the last two minutes.

Don't bet the board. Be very selective. Surround and pound! Scared money is no money. Less is more!

Don't do parlays. Bet one game at a time. Parlays are for losers. Never bet on a hockey game.

You can do teasers, but be very selective.

When you get burned out on gambling or don't feel you are up to your best game, take a few weeks or months off. Enjoy the profits. Travel the world or do something different. Life is short.

Football rule - Tattoo this rule on your arm: Buy the half point (the hook) either up or down depending whether you are on the favorite or the underdog when the line crosses 3, 4 or 7 and sometimes 10.

In the NFL, skip the game or play the other side when a home team opens up at -2 1/2.

Bet the favorites early and underdogs late, especially in a game that is getting a lot of action. Generally the public will be all over the favorite, driving up the price.
