DeleteExactly. I find the start of the season a bit tough b/c there really isnt a fade, since teams are trying to get out of the gates strong. Hondo is picking smart but long term his picks are not good. I may take a few wks off fading him and re-eval then. If you look at his long term baseball record, its poor, but of those wins, I would bet most of them come in the first 1/4 of the year.

ReplyDeleteActually the last 2 years the Hondo fade has been very profitable in April. The fade was 29-19 and 31-19 the last 2 years. According to that, there should be around 40 plays left this month for him. That leaves a lot if time for him to crash.

ReplyDeletelets turn this tide around! My Shit Special of the Day is on the Minnesota Timberwolves -6.5 over the Toronto Raptors. The favorite in this series is 12-1 ATS the last 13 meetings. Raptors are an abysmal 2-7 in there last 9 road games. Minnesota is 5-3 straight up and 6-2 ATS last 8 games and have been playing good ball since AK47 and Pekovic came back. Best of luck.
My small bet today is on the Indiana Pacers -2.5 over the OKC Thunder. OKC is on a high yesterday from beating the Spurs but have to travel to Indiana today in less than a 24 hour turnaround time. Pacers have been off since 4/1 and should be the fresher team. I expect Pacers to pull away in the 4th and win this game. Best of luck everyone!
