MONDAY: NO BETS TODAY

The handicapping staff here is a little hungover from last night's celebration of the Bulls victory by half a point. We will not be betting today. Good luck to you!

  1. always good to have a day off! Something I should have done over the weekend instead of forcing plays! great run so far in the past few days. Just an update with the public fade. Im going based on 80% of public favourite with no line movement in NCAAB and NBA. There really isn't much to it when it comes down to W/L record. However, unrecorded, I've looked at plays that I like that are on the opposite of public favourites after recording the "public fades" for the night and they have been doing fairly decent. by that I mean around 57-60%. I know this has only been a few days but just thought id update you in where im headed with this strategy so far.

  2. MacMiller: Thanks for the update. 57-60% is killer! I stayed off the Lang Fade tonight. Lang had a game in the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) on the Hampton Pirates. I would of bet 75 dimes on the Morgan State Golden Bears for 75 dimes if I would of faded him. No way was I going to touch that game, because half the casinos did not have it on the board. This was one of those games where as the day wore on the line move crossed zero. Hampton opened up at plus one and ended up at minus two. Huge red flag! Lang won his 75 dimer on the Hampton Pirates. I have been burned once but I will not be burned twice. I will take more days off, it takes too long to climb back to the old time profit highs. I check out your blog every day. Good luck!

This is my rule, from the list of rules on the right:
Watch for fishy lines in college basketball in small leagues, such as the Horizon League. If several casinos have this off the board and the line moves so that it crosses zero stay off the game or consider betting which way the money is flowing. It may turn into a very entertaining game to watch in the last two minutes.

  3. haha ya i read that on the side tab of your blog a while ago! good tip! Because of the slump im in i haven't officially played those public fades yet. I mean, the percentage of wins are great but im in no position to actually lay down money right now on something thats only had a good run for a few days. maybe by mid february if it stays consistent ill start wagering on it!
