The Brandon Lang "Expert Analysis" of his paid picks. I put this after the big game was over, I did not want to let his analysis keep you off the Lions today. Brandon Lang was down 120 dimes today and so far on the week Mr. Lang is down 108 dimes:

ANALYSIS

This team owns December.

I don't know what happens the first 3 months of the football season under Norv Turner but you get this group to the month of December and it's on like Donkey Kong.

Since he became coach of San Diego his Chargers are 17-2 SU in the Xmas month. I am talking about only 2 losses this month.

To put it bluntly, you don't go against the Chargers in December.

Although they face a very difficudt task against the resurging Lions, a closer look shows the Chargers should have no problem outscoring this young Detroit bunch today.

in 2 of the last 3 weeks they have faced the #4 toal defense in the NFL in the Jags and the #3 total defense in the Ravens and they put up 38 and 34 points respectively.

Today they face the #18 Lions who have been torched this year by teams who have no where near the offensive firepower as the Chargers.

The Bears put up 37, the Panthers 35, the Raiders 27 and the Vikings 28.

This Charger bunch is healthy for the first time since week 1 and across the board this is just a bad matchup for this Lion bunch.

I just don't see this Lions defense being able to do something a pair of top 5 defenses couldn't: Stop this Charger offense right now.

There will be points but the difference in the game will be Rivers and the Chargers offense making more plays down the stretch to continue their December magic.

This small puppy barks loudly this afternoon.

ANALYSIS

Now to a pair of road teams in the role of small favorite.

I have always said it doesn't matter where you play in the NFL, if you are a defense that can't stop the run facing a running team, you are in trouble.

Enter the matchup of the Broncos and the Bills.

Buffalo is in a free fall of epic porportions since facing the Jets at home back on November 6th with a record of 5-2 and the world was such a happy place.

How quickly their world crumbled after the Jets hammeered them 27-11 and the Bills haven't won again since.

Over their last 7 games they have lost by margins of 37 at Dallas, 27 at Miami, 4 at Jets, 6 at home to Tennessee, 27 at San Diego and 7 last week at home to Miami.

This game is a case of one team playing for their playoff life while the other scratches it's head saying to themselves how it went so bad so fast.

Broncos roll by 7 or more.

As for the Niners, if Rex Grossman and the Redskins can come in here and figure out a way to win, I'm confident the Niners can do that as well.

I am aware of the Monday night letdown facing the Niners but I am also aware of their bid for a 1st round bye and a home playoff game.

You don't think Jim Harbaugh knows the importance of this game? He knows nobody is beating him at home. NOBODY.

His team takes care of business today and all that is left is the Rams on the road to lock up homefield advantage until the NFC Championship game.

And who knows, maybe the Saints or Eagles or Dallas or Giants go upset the banged up Packers on the road and the Niners host the NFC title game.

It's been a great run for the Seahawks but the linemove is showing a lot of Seattle money and if you want to put your money in the hands of Tavaris Jackson with no running game, so be it.

You take Lynch out of the game which the Niners will do and force Seattle to put this game in the hands of Jackson which they will, it's advantage Niners all day long.

The better team in a near pickem is the only way to go as San Francisco continues their winning ways ATS moving to a league best 12-2-1 ATS.

This team pays out like an ATM machine one more time.

ANALYSIS

One of the most ridiculous trends you will ever see involves the Chiefs and Raiders.

The road team in this series has covered 15 of the last 16 with a push courtesy of the Chiefs rolling into Oakland and covering the number in the first meeting this year.

I'm sorry folks but you give me a trend like that and the fact the Chiefs are coming off beating the undefeated Packers the week before and it's letdown city USA.

Oakland needs to win out and get a Denver stumble to get in the playoffs but truth be told, they can't worry about what Denver is doing.

They need to handle their business today and next week and let the rest of the chips fall where they may.

As I have said involving these two teams the last few years, the road team and the points is the only way to go.

Ride the 15-0-1 streak all day long this afternoon.

Lastly, I can't pass up points with the Eagles today.

When they met the first time this year I have never seen the Eagles dominate the Cowboys the way they did that night.

It was a 34-7 destruction in Philly and now the Eagles have their swagger back and their playoff hopes are still there.

They beat Dallas today, the Jets beat the Giants and next week they beat Washington at home while the Giants beat the Cowboys.

Stranger things have happened in the NFL but as good as Philly is playing right now, I can't go against them.

I will not jump on this Cowboys bandwagon after they beat who???? The Succaneers???? Come on now.
