Good morning guys! I feel bad that both Gator and Shit have been chased out of here because of criticisms about either their bets or how they bet. They've both offered a lot to this blog. I hope they ignore the naysayers and come back to post with us.

Good morning, yea i hope gator comes back and Shit stays ! nobody is forcing us to bet anything and i like getting other peoples opinions and views! I have noticed other people stopped checking in too! things have been going bad but no need at all for negativity.

Good Morning all.

Even if I don't play all the plays, I still appreciate any plays and info that is posted. keep them coming.

Looking at SF @ ARI today.
Arizona is 11-0 when Corbin starts (5-0, 1.97 at home) (9-0, 2.06 ERA overall)
Cain is 1-2, 8.88 in his last four road starts (4-3, 5.45 ERA overall)

You know as well as i do that Hondo is not been winning for 2.5 months...

If we were to just fade Hondo every play since baseball started... do you really think the bankroll would be down as much as it is since football????

Slats i respect you, but come on, you know your above post is not accurate.

People on here are too worried about hurting each other's feelings...

I thought the main objective of this blog was to make Money.... if that means buying time till football so be it.

new here (although I've been checking in for long time), but just because it's a blog 'selection', don't see anyone forcing me to make the play. The 'fund' I see at the top, is that everyone's fund? I assumed it was rick's personal $ in the game.

I don't care what the top play is. I just appreciate anyone having some input. Doesn't mean I'm going to play it. Don't like someones play, don't put money on it.. . simple.

I didn't say that tailing Hondo would've been making money. However fading him isn't making money this year either. I do agree with you that the big goal is to make money. And the blog has been inconsistent of late in who to fade or tail. Personally I'm going to tail the undertaker until football season. I'm tired of jumping from one strategy to another. I'm back with the blog wholeheartedly for football season.

This is an informational blog for Nevada residents only. Please feel free to make comments. If you think I am full of it, tell me! I hope this blog is helpful and entertaining and even possibly profitable to you. I will never tell you to bet a hockey game! Can I tell you the secret to sports betting in two words? Money management. One thing I know for sure, you are here and you are reading this. You are a winner!

My rules for sports betting:

As you win, your bets per dime should go up. As you lose, your bets per dime will go down. This automatically adjusts for runs or streaks. You should bet more when you are winning and bet less when you are losing. This rule does not apply to Labby Lines.

ALWAYS get the best line. Shop Around. Get up early. Have multiple outs. This is critical to long-term success, you have to do the work. Never play at a sports book which is known for not paying winners, make sure your sports book is not on the Black List. For grading purposes, we will grade all plays as what is most available to players. So don't be surprised if I change the line during the day for grading purposes, IF the line goes against me.

Use 1,000 dimes. Have the biggest bankroll you can put together. Most of the money you can just keep in the bank. But it has to be there to withstand any severe downturn. This is money you can afford to lose.

Never pay for a pick or bet based on what a paid tout says. You know I am giving you my best opinion, because I am not selling you anything! Help your hungry neighbor if you want to give money to someone. You need to have a filtering process to beat the vig. You got to win more than you lose.

If you ever get the urge to bet on a hockey game, lay down till the urge passes.

If you hit a winning streak and get ahead a lot, consider taking your original bankroll off the table and playing with just the profits. As night follows day, a good winning streak can be followed by a bad one.

Watch for fishy lines in college basketball in small leagues, such as the Horizon League. If several casinos have this off the board and the line moves so that it crosses zero stay off the game or consider betting which way the money is flowing. It may turn into a very entertaining game to watch in the last two minutes.

Don't bet the board. Be very selective. Surround and pound! Scared money is no money. Less is more!

Don't do parlays. Bet one game at a time. Parlays are for losers. Never bet on a hockey game.

You can do teasers, but be very selective.

When you get burned out on gambling or don't feel you are up to your best game, take a few weeks or months off. Enjoy the profits. Travel the world or do something different. Life is short.

Football rule - Tattoo this rule on your arm: Buy the half point (the hook) either up or down depending whether you are on the favorite or the underdog when the line crosses 3, 4 or 7 and sometimes 10.

In the NFL, skip the game or play the other side when a home team opens up at -2 1/2.

Bet the favorites early and underdogs late, especially in a game that is getting a lot of action. Generally the public will be all over the favorite, driving up the price.
