ReplyDeleteI've narrowed my selections to UNC, TEMPLE, CAL, TX ST..
At this time of the year, certain teams still are playing for something (UNC, CAL) while certain teams have all but thrown in the towel. UNC wants in the tourney. CAL has a shot at the PAC12 top team.
The Temple game is a reschedule from a previous cancellation. Out of conference game for Detroit. This game is being played on Temple's campus.
Tx St is not great, but is at home, against a equally crappy team in Seattle. Long flight from the PacNW. Short home line, w/ the better player and home court.
I will narrow the selections later. Let me know your feelings about these games. I know absolutely nothing about NBA. I do know that Doug Collins has ripped his team and is at a loss for what to do w/ his current roster.

ReplyDeleteGuys - I just read over at the SBR in the Fade Bryan Rosica thread that Rosica somehow got up on the International Space Station. NASA quickly pulled the live television coverage on NASA TV and I heard the National Security Council has convened a quick meeting at the White House. In the meantime Bryan is entertaining the astronauts with card tricks. He may be in big trouble. Don't you have to have permission to go aboard the space station? Crazy magician!

ReplyDeleteUNC- (they own Clemson under Roy Williams/Clemson does not have the firepower to stay with them/they need this game to keep tourney hopes alive)
CAL- (big line better team in conference at home with something to play for (similar to Kstate Monday/Wisc Tues/Miami-Pitt-NC State/Wednesday)
DUKE- Coach K is one coach that will not allow to let his team look ahead to saturday's big game against Miami. (If they can't get it done tonight, saturday's game means nothing).
Sidenote--- All 3 of these gut picks laughed at my admissions applications years back!

Games I like today:
South Dakota -2 VS IUPUI (Indiana/Purdue). IUPUI is a nightmarish 6-18 ATS, and even worse ATS at home: 1-7. I'm all over this game.
The Citadel -2 VS FURMAN. Another HORRIBLE team ATS in Furman. 8-13 on the year. Plus they've lost 4 straight ATS and this is their 3rd straight road game. Both IUPUI and FURMAN are just mailing in these season enders. I'm on South Dakota and Citadel for 20 dimes each.
