    1. I like those Slats. I am looking at:

      Alamaba
      Auburn
      Air Force

    2. Bama has dropped down to around a touchdown. I kind of like Auburn. I saw Air Force in their first game of the season and they are horrible.

    3. I'm sorry I saw Air Force last week against Utah State. Air Force is terrible.

  6. I've been a viewer of the blog for a long time. Never posted until now. I'm on the under for the cle sox game and the umpire is not Mulchinski. It's Jeff Kellogg an over umpire. I hope we pull one out today.

  7. Guys think about this, today in baseball miami is +142 vs the mets and the if you bet the mets RL the mets are +145 the only thing that stops us from making $ regardless of who wins is a one run victory by the mets! and there is 12 gm's that fall into this situation. how many gm's end in 1 run victory's by the favorite ?

    1. This strategy in the long run is not a good strategy because if you bet 100 on each side you are betting 200 to win 45. If the favorite does win by only 1 run (losing both bets), you will now have to win 5 games betting the same way to make a profit and if within those 5 games another favorite wins by 1 run, good luck making a profit with this system.

    2. yea a favorite that wins by 1 is a killer ! i need to find a % of gm's that end in a 1 run victory.

    3. im sure we could check on a gm by gm basis the history between 2 teams and see if they play close gm's or have the tendency to and if its less than 10% will make $

    5. maybe i will just track it chris based on $100 a gm and see how it goes, can not hurt to see it black and white right?

      Delete
    6. I've done that strategy betting only a dollar on each side just to see how it would go and in the long run I lost money.

      Delete
    7. But of course I was betting the board not limiting myself to having about +140 on each side.

  8. D Iassogna is the projected umpire for San Fran Dodgers game. He is 1-8-1 last 10 to the under. O/U is 6 though -120 / -125.

  9. hey Patrick

but do u think any sportsbook out there would let u bet this system ?

    1. u think an online book would monitor this ? im not sure

  10. Chris is right. Mulchinski isn't even at that game. To be honest I have not even been checking to see which umpires are at each game. I think this will be my last baseball bett of the season.

    1. Must have been a last minute change of umpires. I can see why J. Kellogg is an over umpire. He has a strike zone the size of a peanut. I hope we pull this one out.

  11. Patrick, I believe that the reason why there are so many baseball consensus teams that are over 70% is because not near as many people bet baseball as do football. That way it is easier to have a higher percentage.

  12. Slats...

here are my thoughts on those 2 games.

UCLA is solid this year. Although, in years past they never seem to be a team you can trust on the road.

that being said. I know a walk on from their team was killed this past weekend. Not sure if that will help them or distract them.

I do not think Nebraska is a good defense. They are not the black shirts they used to be.

I actually think the game is going to be a shoot out and whoever has the ball last wins. I am eyeing over TT in that game.

    Miss St/Auburn

I have watched both teams play this year. Both offenses need work. Auburn got it going last week against Ark State who was just overmatched.

Neither team has a solid QB so I think you might be onto something with the under there.

  13. Slats i have no strong opinion on those gm's and im still just not feeling it the losing streak is taking its toll on me a bit.

  15. Food for thought: according to sports book spy the most heavily bet college game this week is the Louisville/Kentucky game. 90% of the action is on Louisville -14. Might be a good time to grab the dog.
