UPDATE: Air Force was completely outmatched by the Lobos tonight. The Falcons lost big at home. My winning streak only went five games. Hopefully I can put together another set of wins beginning tomorrow.
The Falcons have lost four games in a row, but almost beat nationally ranked UNLV in their last game, losing 65-63 in overtime last Saturday. I believe they could win outright tonight at home here against the Lobos. Most of the handicappers I have seen are on the Lobos, but I think the cadets want a win here. I am putting my money where my mouth is, putting 3.3% of my bankroll on the Falcons.

SUNDAY: 30 DIMES WON BY THE HOOK ON THE CHICAGO BULLS + 4 1/2 VISITING THE MIAMI HEAT
6:15 PM EST. UPDATE: I told you this game would be entertaining, lol.

Whether you bet it or not, this game should be entertaining to watch. The Bulls are the real deal. There will be no additional games today. Good luck!

"Here again, we are looking at two teams with a tremendous amount of historical rivalry in place, both in the classroom and on the courts. Harvard comes in boasting a 16-2 record, undefeated in the Ivy and with one of the two season losses at the hands of UCONN, which would be expected. Harvard has a very mature, senior led team, often the case in Ivy league teams where graduation rates are paramount, but let’s forget about the SAT scores and get to the basketball. Posing a problem for all of their offensively challenged conference foes, Harvard is ranked in the top 25 in the country in defensive efficiency, highlighted by a complete clinic against Dartmouth in their last game out, holding the Big Green to an almost unbelievable 38 points on their own home floor. The Crimson are clearly the most talented and disciplined team in the Ivy and should very likely win the conference without too much of a challenge. The team probably has aspirations to run the table in conference, giving them a sure-fire boost in motivation against this old, old, old-school rival.
One the other side of the tipoff stand the Yale Bulldogs, who have an impressive 12-4 record but have yet to really play an impressive squad and secure the ‘W’. Losses on the road to Seton Hall, Wake Forest and Florida highlight the key offensive issue with this squad: They want to run and run and run with the big boys, but usually come up a bit short in the 2nd half. In this sure to be closely contested matchup, they will need to institute a gameplan of letting their double-double machine Mangano touch the ball early and often. His inside presence, coupled with hitting some key inside-out jump-shots will be the key for Yale to keep this one close down the stretch.
So the key questions in this matchup are, Will Yale have any answer to stop Keith Wright on the interior? Will the offensive balance of Harvard overwhelm Yale, or will they stay committed to stopping the big three point producers? (Keith Wright (10.8), Kyle Casey (10.8 ) and Laurent Rivard (10.4)) Can Yale put up 60+ points on Harvard? It’s the best offense in the Ivy vs. the best defense in the Ivy, who wins?
The first of two major angles supports Harvard strongly, and it’s one of my favorites: REVENGE! With both teams featuring upper classmen, the fact that Harvard lost to Yale in this arena last season 70-69 in one of the closest games you’ll ever see plays a major factor. Don’t be surprised if this one gets chippy, even for a game played by kids with IQ’s higher than the posted total for the game. Note that Harvard has one key feature to the team that might be pushing this line slightly higher…a tiny number next to it’s team signifying a spot in the top 25 in the country. Still, only one of these two teams is going to be playing meaningful basketball in March, meaning this game is ALL IMPORTANT, and they are both going to playing like it tonight.
The way it stands, this game being played in New Haven might make all of the difference. Neither side shows a tremendous advantage ATS. With the home crowd support behind them, highly motivated to take down a ranked foe, Yale has a good opportunity here, particularly catching 6-7 points at the tipoff for a pointspread cover. Yale matches up well with Harvard on the interior, as Mangano and Wright will generally go point for point and block for block—so the onus will lie on both teams perimeter players to win the game. I personally am never a fan of betting on matchups where emotion and foul trouble could turn this one into a rout in an instant. But coupled with the rivalry game home floor advantage (this game has been sold out for about a month now), Mangano’s inside presence and 20-10 ability, and the fact that Yale will try to run and dictate some tempo successfully in this game, I would lean towards taking the points with Yale- and then digging in for a nail biter that might just have you toasting a cold one or cursing at the TV screen based on the last shot of the game. When both teams have the game circled on the calendar as soon as the schedules are released, the safer bet is to take the points.
Good luck to everyone tonight!"

THURSDAY ADDITIONAL GAME: 40 DIME WIN ON THE COLORADO BUFFALOS + 1 VISITING THE USC TROJANS
12:35 AM FRIDAY UPDATE: Wednesday I game the sports monitor a bunch of college hoop games. They all won but the Lang Fade. Today I added the Colorado Buffs here for 40 dimes as I loved them as a dog. Friday I will give out at least two plays as well. I will probably stick to the Lang Fade but will give out a higher rated play later in the day also. I had to turn this around somehow. Losing is BS.

TUESDAY: 22 DIME LOSS ON THE WYOMING COWBOYS - 2 1/2 AT HOME AGAINST THE SAN DIEGO STATE AZTECS
The losing streak continues for me. Maybe it will turn around today. The weather problems the Aztec's are having traveling to Laramie might be a factor in tonight's game. Laramie is at 7,165 feet altitude.

Today from the U-T San Diego sports:
"The best-laid plans …
This year the San Diego State men’s basketball team chartered a flight directly into Laramie for its annual trip to Wyoming instead of the usual slog – flying commercial to Denver, followed by a 2½-hour bus ride over a notoriously windy mountain pass that may or may not be open.
And what happens? Their charter Monday afternoon stops halfway to refuel in Cedar City, Utah, then gets grounded by a snowstorm. The Aztecs – who moved up to No. 13 in the Associated Press poll – checked in at a Cedar City hotel, watching film on Wyoming and hoping the skies cleared by morning. Tipoff in Laramie is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. MST.
“Just landed to get gas and now we’re stuck in the snow,” center Garrett Green posted on his Twitter account, along with a photo of teammates walking away from the plane at dusk, leaving footprints in the accumulating snow. “Smh it’s not looking good.”
“Stuck in Utah for the night …,” guard James Rahon tweeted shortly after that.
"We stuck!!!!!" guard Xavier Thames tweeted.
The adventure continued Tuesday morning, with the team leaving Cedar City at 8:17 a.m. MST on and stopping – again – to refuel in Grand Junction, Colo., before trying to fly the remaining leg to Laramie Regional Airport, assuming it is open. It began snowing about midnight in Laramie, where temperatures dipped into the mid-20s, and the forecast called for it to continue intermittently throughout Tuesday.
"Attempt number 2," forward Tim Shelton tweeted Tuesday morning. "Taking off from Utah for our Wyoming game today. Hopefully the weather is better this time. God bless this morning!"

MONDAY: 22 DIME LOSS ON THE IONA GAELS -10 VISITING THE SIENA SAINTS
I am on a losing streak here. My bets per dime are going down as the money management system is showing its power when I am losing. I am following the Lang Fade today.
Iona Gaels basketball streaming radio
From a Lang Fade thread:
"Iona already blasted Siena 95-59 in a "semi-home" game earlier this season. Siena only has 7 players on their roster and only 6 contribute significantly. Siena is one of the worst offensive teams in the nation in just about every category while Iona is one of the best. Looks like a total mismatch and Iona has had a few recent wake up calls."
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $74,829
Bet per dime: ($74,829 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $82.31
ITS 1:54 PM EASTERN MONDAY - GOLDEN GOOSE FADE PLAY: 20 Dimes on the Iona Gaels - 10 visiting the Siena Saints playing in the Times Union Center in Albany, New York at 7:00 PM EST., Bet $1,646 (20 X $82.31), grading this at - 10, as always shop around. RESULTS: Lost $1,646
Final: Siena Saints 65 Iona Gaels 62
Total loss on the day: 22 dimes or $1,646

FRIDAY: 22 DIME LOSS ON THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS + 5 AT HOME AGAINST THE CHICAGO BULLS IN A HORRIBLE PICK
Horrible pick on the Cavs tonight. The Bulls are 14-3 now this season, they are the best team in the NBA now. I lost 2.2% of the bankroll. This was a terrible pick, no question about that. Cavs looked awful. I lost this game by 34 points against the spread. Its a wake in Cleveland, you got to feel for head coach Byron Scott and the fans. Coach Scott was wondering where their heart was tonight. This was the worst point loss at home in Cavaliers history.

FRIDAY: NOT SURE IF I WANT TO BET TODAY
If I am betting anything today, I will post it by 2:00 PM EST. I may take a break today and read a book. My sports handicapper shows me as the #2 handicapper there on their home page. That is bogus and misleading as I don't actually bet all those picks I give them. I give them hockey picks for example, but would never in real life bet a hockey game. NFL is another matter. I do get a big rush on having a large bet down on a team like the 49ers last Saturday or having 2 grand down on the Mavericks yesterday, when everyone else seemed to like the other side. But I am way overdue for a losing streak. I only bet one or two games a day. If there is any question what I am betting on, check the picture I post on the right. If you are new to the blog, please go back to the first post on the blog and read each day up to the present. I am way overdue to lose some money. I try to keep this as simple as possible. I think my money management is very good.
Your time is valuable. If I am betting you should be able to tell what I am betting on and the dime amount within five seconds or less by the blog title or the picture at the top right. I won't post ads or donation buttons or tell you I am the greatest handicapper that ever lived or post a bogus record. But I will post links to other sites that are useful and I encourage you to go there. If you go to other handicapping sites, notice that very few post links to other websites. I don't want your money or your email address. But I do want your comments, they are always appreciated. I could discontinue this blog at any time. Good luck to you today!

WEDNESDAY: I APOLOGIZE TO GOVERNOR CHRIS CHRISTIE OF NEW JERSEY
I have just been informed by someone close to the Mitt Romney campaign that Chris Christie is a Republican. He is also a very good governor from the state of New Jersey who supports Mitt Romney for president. Any friend of fellow bettor Mitt Romney is a friend of ours. This site totally supports Mitt Romney for President. It has been explained to us that gambling on sports is a states rights issue and it should be left up to the individual states to decide as we are a federal system. I wrongly assumed Governor Christie was a democrat because he was from New Jersey. Sometimes I am totally clueless.
Nate and the staff are now working on the Monkey Line for the Wednesday games. The Rockets game on Tuesday should of probably been rated higher than 20 dimes. No excuses, we will try harder!

TUESDAY: 20 DIMES WON ON THE HOUSTON ROCKETS - 7 1/2 AT HOME AGAINST THE DETROIT PISTONS, STOP LEGAL SPORTS BETTING IN NEW JERSEY!
You ever get the feeling no matter what you bet you will lose? Since Sunday I have been gambling shy. After collecting back all my temporary loans to the books with substantial interest, I guess its time to give them another very short term loan. You can't win every game!

UPDATE: Nate and I are going nuts here. We just learned a state back east, New Jersey I think is trying to legalize sports betting! Huh? WTF! Has anyone watched Jersey Shore? These folks in New Jersey should not be betting on sports! My goodness, what an outrageous concept. We are working with Nevada Senator Harry Reid's office to stop this on the federal level. We may need your support in contacting your senators and congressman. Just imagine it: Legal sports betting in New Jersey, its enough to turn your stomach!
Hey, don't point your finger at us Fat Man! You and Tony Soprano have to be stopped!
This is for the Governor of New Jersey from the Senate Majority Leader from Nevada - Mormons against gambling!, Garden State my ass!:
This man is a degenerate. Who is this clown, what is this "will of the people" crap? If you allow this in New Jersey, what is next? Ohio, Georgia, California, Illinois, Texas, Washington State, Pennsylvania, New York or even Utah? Listen to this guy talk about parlays, hey we don't do parlays here clown:

The Source finally discovered The Texans + 7 1/2 were the bet for last Sunday, welcome aboard Stu! It seems Stu has been in the kitchen watching porn all this time. Stu Feiner is going with the Baltimore Ravens + 7 1/2 and the New York Giants + 2 1/2 for the next round.
The Hook likes the Michigan Wolverines tonight as his free pick.

I have no videos today of Brandon Lang or our other guest handicappers, except for Al "The Hook" DeMarco. Seems they are all traveling or they are having "technical difficulties." If you see any of them at the airport, be sure to say hi and buy then a nice cup of coffee for me! UPDATE: Stu "The Source" Feiner finally got his website back up and has a interesting video blog post.

Brandon Lang Paid Picks:

MR. LANG'S ANALYSIS
I just can't back TJ Yates in this spot in as hostile enviornment as you will ever see.
Let's get past the home victory over the Bengals for their first playoff win in the team's history. Congrats.
However, if Matt Schaub can't go in here and stay within single digits regardless of how close the game was in the 4th quarter, then a rookie isn't going to either.
All I've heard is Adrian Foster this and Adrian Foster that but this game will fall into the hands of Yates against the Ravens defense.
This team in this stadium on this day hosting a home playoff game for the first time in years is to much to overcome for a rookie QB.
How soon we forget their loss at winless Indy. How bad Yates looked. How they couldn't get it into the endzone.
This game will be close for awhile but I just believe it's going to be the relentless pressure of this Ravens defense against a rookie QB that will eventually do them in.
It's a big number. It's risen. However, a double digit win is there for the taking with the rested Ravens defense.
The bottom line is this: If T.J Yates plays error free football for 60 minutes and keeps this a single digit game so be it. I will move on and get ready for the conference championship games next week.
For my dollar, I just don't see it. Not today. Not against this defense. Not in this stadium.
The Ravens are 4-1 ATS last 5 as a playoff favorite and on the flip side the Texans are 1-4 ATS last 5 meetings versus this Ravens bunch and that was with Matt Schaub.
All home team by double digits early this afternoon.
MR. LANG'S ANALYSIS
I just don't see them losing this game.
It's been a great run for the Giants. Great run. Huge run.
However, on this day against this offense and this secondary, playing man to man defense they can't match up for 60 minutes.
Will Eli make plays? Sure he will but it won't be enough to match Aaron Rogers at home.
This is a Green Bay team that is averaging over 30 points a game at home and I have no doubt they will get over 30 at home today.
The only question I have is can the Giants get me over 20 against this defense today. I believe they can.
With this line and the Giants offense being pretty darn good I am not messing with a backdoor as we have seen multiple times during the season and the playoffs in years past.
But at the end of the day I just don't see Eli outplaying Rogers in Lambeau. Not today. Not ever.
And with 2 weeks to get ready for the Giants front 4 I believe the Packers will attack where the Giants are most vulnerable. Linebacking corp.
Let's take the Packers down to just winning, call for a high scoring game and be done with it and not have to sweat the 4th quarter.
Home team rolls in this one late this afternoon.

Guest handicapper Mr. Stu "The Source" Feiner reports in. He had the 49ers winning outright, well, yeah. For $100,000 you can buy his parlay. To save you from PayPal hassles, he has a parlay on the Green Bay Packers and the Baltimore Ravens. Now that we know his big parlay is on Baltimore and Green Bay, we feel better about our Texans + 7 1/2 bet! Check out Stuies video blog. Stu, you are a funny guy, too bad neither of your picks covered. Stu: Parlays are for losers:

Guest handicapper Al "The Hook" DeMarco checks in. The Hook has the Baltimore Ravens and as usual buy the half point (the hook) to get the play to Ravens - 7. Good thing his customers got the hook for the push, but wouldn't it be better if he had the winning side for a win without buying a point?

Guest handicapper Steve "No Clue" Budin checks in from here in Las Vegas. Mr. Budin had a 100 Dime Teaser on the Ravens and Packers. Stevo, I hope you did not actually bet that! His last 100 dime bet was on LSU +2 1/2 over Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game. That bet lost too:
