MR. LANG ANALYSIS
The better coached team prevails today.
Nothing against Paul Johnson but Kyle Whittingham is just a better football coach and rest assured with time to prepare he will handle this Tech offense.
The bottom line is it's not something Utah hasn't seen before. I mean, they spent the last 20 years battling Air force who essentially runs the same offense.
Utah's last 5 games versus Air Force and the triple option offense saw them win 4 out of the 5 SU holding the Flyboys to an average of just under 20 points a game.
Yes, motivation on both sides is a question mark.
The Utes ended the season losing at home to Colorado to end the season costing them a date in the Pac-12's Championship game but Tech's fall from grace was even more devastating.
Cruising along at 6-0 traveling to Virginia they lost outright 24-21 as a 7 1/2 point favorite and the free fall didn't end until the lost 4 of their last 6 overall.
From a vegas standpoint this team finished 1-6 ATS their last 7 and this team shouldn't be trusted laying points against anybody right now.
Utah has had impressive performances away from home this year as they should have beat USC in the most bizarre ending of the season.
They hammered BYU 54-10, Pitt 26-14, Arizona 34-21 and Washington State 30-27.
I have made money going against Georgia Tech in bowl games against good coached teams that have faced the option before and the extra time to prepare is invalueable.
There is a reason Georgia Tech has lost 6 straight bowl games and yes, Utah did have their string of 9 straight bowl wins snapped last year by Boise, it still doesn't take away from how good this team is with time to prepare.
I will roll the dice in a very big way with offsnsive coordinator Norm Chow of Utah against Al Groh of Tech anyday of the week.
Utah is the 7th best run defense in the country and with all this time to get ready, that defense will be the key today.
Small dog barks loudly this afternoon.
MR. LANG ANALYSIS:
Keep this short and sweet.
Watching Ucla and Illinois offensively today will be like watching monkeys hump a football. (Can you name the movie that line is from).
I will force these two teams to get over the posted total. Just don't see it.
Not only has UCLA gone Under 6 of their last 8 overall but the Illini have gone under their last 6 games overall.
Good enough for me to ride the under and force both of these teams to show me they can score some points this afternoon.
As for Vandy, bottom line is this is still SEC speed versus Big East speed and watching Wake Forest battle Miss State yesterday it made shake my head knowing Vandy hammered Wake 41-7 to close the year.
The Bearcats couldn't handle Tennessee on the road earlier this year as they were completely outclassed by the SEC and I fully expect them to be outclassed by Vandy today.
Cincy is 0-4 ATS last 4 bowl games overall while the Commodores are 6-1 ATS their last 7 games overall.
I will roll with the SEC at a value number all night long.
As for the last games, same principles apply.
You give me an SEC team against an inferior conference and I will swing for the fences with the SEC all night long.
My problem with Virginia is their last game of the season when they were shutout at home 38-0 to Virginia Tech.
The Cavaliers have been offensively challenged all year long and that will be their downfall here tonight.
As for Auburn, sure you see a 7-5 record but what you also see is their 5 losses were to 5 teams of which 4 are in BCS bowl games while the 5th played in the SEC championship game.
They lost to Clemson, Arkansas, LSU, Georgia and Alabama.
I will go down swinging with the defending national champs on a fast track with more offense facing an offensively challenged opponent.
It's SEC day new years eve 2011 as this small chalk delivers.

SATURDAY: Thanks For the Encouragment Dear Readers and Happy New Year to You and Our Guest Handicappers!
Happy New Year to everyone. I am now down only 3 dimes on the week after winning my only bet Friday, going 100% on the day. Unfortunately, I did not do so well on the six picks given my Sports Monitor, only going 83.3% as I went 5-1 there. You can't win them all. I am the only capper who gives out all my picks free before game time. Two other cappers did each give out one pick free. Way to go!
To maintain my professional handicapping status at my sports monitor, effectively immediately I am now a paid service. Payment will be required within 24 hours after each winning day in the form of one random act of kindness.
Thanks to to all our guest handicappers - Brandon Lang, Indian Cowboy, Steve Budin and Al DeMarco. Your videos and expert analysis are always appreciated. I wish you and your families a very profitable New Year, as well as all my readers here in Nevada and in Vilnius. Your encouragement and comments are always welcome. God bless everyone and lets pray for another 100 dime straight bet from the Golden Goose! See you later today...

FRIDAY: Won 100 Dimes on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights +1 as the Whole State of Iowa Gets Langed
Thank goodness, the Golden Goose has a straight bet on a game. If you go to any paid handicapping sites, the cappers will never post links to anybody else. I post links to useful sites. The links I have posted are what I use. The Indian Cowboy has went viral now at the SBR Sports Forum. The Brandon Lang Fade also has a daily thread there. Posters there are not allowed to post the handicappers units or dimes. Seems the mods there at the SBR Sports Forum are on the verge of banning the guy that posts IC's picks there, unreal. They have just moved the IC thread from the sports service section to the promotion section. Someone out there is pissed off. The poster that is about to be permanently banned has created an Indian Cowboy Daily Plays blog. I posted the link in my link section. UPDATE: The IC plays have now been removed form the SBR Forum. Someone is indeed pissed off. I don't think the sports books here or offshore want you to make money in the long-term. The odds are stacked against the bettor. From the dishonest touts to the sports forums that have advertisements for the offshore sports books: Screw em! Its war my kind readers and I think we are on the winning side!
I started up with the the Sports Monitor for handicapping contests that did not happen. So I post all the picks now in the Free Picks Section there before game time. But here is what I actually am betting on, usually just one pick a day I bet. But as we look at our results compared to other cappers its a vindication that the hottest thing going now and most successful (or it would not be viral) is the Lang Fade and the Indian Cowboy Follow.
I am confident in my money management system as it automatically reduces my bets per dime when I lose. I use Mr. Langs dime unit ratings when I fade him because he has a solid track record of losing the big plays. He does much better on his smaller dime plays than on his large dime plays. It sounds goofy as hell, but the man has lost over 6,000 dimes at his website. So as much as losing is gut wrenching, I am confident that my money management system will make me a winner over the long run.
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $73,717
Bet per dime: ($73,717 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $81.09
ITS 1:04 PM EASTERN FRIDAY - GOLDEN GOOSE FADE PLAY: 100 Dimes on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights + 1 over the Iowa State Cyclones in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium, 3:20 PM EST., Bet $8,109 (100 X $81.09), Results of Lang Fade: Won $7,372
FINAL SCORE: Rutgers Scarlet Knights 27 Iowa State Cyclones 13
Profit on the day: 100 dimes or $7,372
Total profit since this blog started and today's ending balance: $81,089

THE GOLDEN GOOSE CHECKS IN:
100 Dimes: Iowa State -1 over Rutgers. The current line is -1 at the majority of sportsbooks in Vegas and offshore. - Loss
50 Dimes: Iowa over Oklahoma. The current line is +13 1/2 at the majority of sportsbooks in Vegas and offshore. - Loss
Lang Comp: Mississippi State -6.5 - Loss, but it almost covered
ANALYSIS
Rolling the dice with the small chalk from the Midwest.
Been an interesting season for the Cyclones as they rolled out to a 3-0 start highlighted by their win at home over in-state rival Iowa 44-41 as a 6 1/2 point home dog.
Over their next 4 games they were flat out obliterated by Texas at home 37-14, at Baylor 49-26, at Missouri 52-17 and at home to Texas A&M 33-17.
Since that loss back on October 22nd, this Iowa State team has been a different beast across the board.
They rolled into Texas Tech and destroyed the Red Raiders 41-7 as a 15 1/2 point dog, beat Kansas at home by 3 and then pulled off the upset of the year at home beating then #2 Okie State 37-31 catching 26 1/2.
It was hard for them to get up off the deck at Oklahoma the very next week losing by 23 but still covering the 29 point number and then finished the year losing by 7 at Kansas State but grab the cash at the window catching +10.
This team has covered 5 of their last 6 games on the vegas board and I fully expect them to handle their business against a young Rutgers squad today.
Last time I checked I didn't see Rutgers beating a quality opponent like a #2 team in the nation and for that matter there isn't a team they played this year that would scare anybody.
The Big East is a very bad conference this year across the board and already Louisville was outclassed by NC State which also tells me how bad the Big East was this year.
Both of these teams went into Uconn and while Iowa State won outright 24-20 as a 4-point road dog, Rutgers flat out got blown out 40-22 as a 3 1/2 point favorite.
Now, I don't care what anybody says, you want to be playing your best ball as you end the year and head to your bowl game but getting destroyed by 18 points as a road favorite tells me Rutgers is not.
I love the offensive diversity of Iowa State, love their coach and love how they are playing right now.
In a near pickem game the team that wins will cover and I'm confident that team will be the team out of the Big 12, who just happens to be undefeated this bowl season with Missouri and Baylor already cashing winning tickets.
Rutgers is going to be a force in the next couple of years with this young kid Gary Nova at QB but on this field today the team from the Big 12 is just the better team.
The Cyclones roll in with all the momentum in the world and win this one by double digits.
FINAL SCORE: Rutgers Scarlet Knights 27 Iowa State Cyclones 13
ANALYSIS
You just don't go against this coach in bowl game.
In their last 7 bowl games under head coach Kirk Ferentz the Iowa Hawkeyes are 6-1 ATS including 5-1 ATS as a bowl underdog.
Now if you look at home banged up Oklahoma his across the board, especially on the offensive side with two of their best weapons out in Broyles and running back Whaley, they have struggled.
Allow me to put this in perspective for you: Against the 106th total defense in the country at Oklahoma State they scored 10 points. At home to the 99th total defense in Iowa State they struggled to score 26.
Now they face the 67th total defense in Iowa on a neutral field asking them to beat this team by at least 2 touchdowns. Are you serious?
Iowa is going to run the ball right down the Sooners throat. After all Oklahoma does give up close to 140 a game.
It's going to be a big day of Coker on the ground and even bigger day for this Iowa football team as they catch the Sooners in the ultimate bowl flat spot.
You can't tell me this Sooners bunch, who were picked by many to be in the BCS championship game to not only be playing in that game but a BCS bowl game as well.
Motivation is with the big underdog and we will let Bob Stoops and his Sooners implode once again in a bowl game that doesn't matter to all his blue chip all americans relegated to the Insight bowl in Arizona.
Good luck motivating these brothers for this one Bobby.
The better coach catching double digits on a neutral field with a big physical football team that is fundementally sound is the only way to go here.
This big dog packs a huge bite tonight in the Tempe.
FINAL SCORE: Oklahoma Sooners 31 Iowa Hawkees 14

FRIDAY: Losing is Emotionally Draining
I am down 103 dimes this week. Although I have never had a losing week here on this blog I am way overdue for one. I could lose five weeks in a row. I remain committed to doing this blog till I have a losing week. I just feel rattled though. I just went to my sports monitor and they have me listed as the #1 handicapper on their home page. Talk about putting salt in the wound. If you look at the picks, they are basically IC's picks and the Golden Goose fade plays given out free there before game time. I want to apologize to IC for giving out his big pick yesterday a couple hours before it was released to his paying customers. That was the wrong thing to do. Losing close to ten grand is not funny, nothing is funny this morning. I feel like a total loser. But on the positive side, have I found a winning formula? Only if I can cash in on it. But now I feel sick. Gambling sucks.

I want to make a personal comment on the egregious conduct surrounding the recent death and funeral of famed actor and sports capper Cheetah. Disgraceful is the only word i can use:
- Clyde the orangutan got in a drunken fight with costar Clint Eastwood.
- Caesar from Rise of the Planet of the Apes turned the eulogy into a call for uprising against humans.
- The gorilla pallbearers decided to throw the coffin around for awhile to see how tough it was.
- One disgruntled bettor got too close to Cheetah's grieving widow and she ripped off his arm.
- The dam newspaper obits accidentally ran a photo of George W. Bush instead of Cheetah.
- Elderly Lassie marked the chapel and embarrassed herself.
- Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion ended up at wrong funeral luncheon and ate the caterer.
- Greystoke star Christopher Lambert was even denied entrance to the funeral by a guard who did not recognize him.
- Christopher Lambert was denied entrance to the graveside service by a guard who recognized him from Highlander II.

UPDATE: Thanks Mr. Lang for bailing me out on the early week. When I try to handicap on my own, its a major fail. But now with the gregarious Mr. Lang and the studious Mr. Cowboy, I don't need to handicap. But no one can replace Cheetah. Umgawa! I go up 40 dimes today and am up 7 dimes on the week as the Lang Fade covers on Air Force + 3. I just wish it was a 100 dimer. Please, no more teasers Brandon! I want to thank my two guest handicappers for wearing their Air Force blue shirts in their videos! It made the difference.
-----
Sorry about the lateness of this post, I was out shopping for the best line. I got off the Lang Fade yesterday and it cost me dearly. Today I am back on the Fade Train and have complete confidence in the Falcons to cover.
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $79,643
Bet per dime: ($79,643 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $87.61
ITS 1:12 PM EASTERN WEDNESDAY - MR. LANG FADE PLAY: 40 Dimes on the USAF Academy Falcons +3 1/2 over the Toledo Rockets in the Military Bowl at RFK Memorial Stadium, Washington, D.C., 4:30 PM EST. Bet $3,504 (40 X $87.61) Shop around on this line, the worst I have saw here was + 3 1/2. (UPDATE: I am grading this at +3 as that is what one reader got, read the comment. If you get a worse number than what I show I am grading it at, let me know, I will change the grading to your number.) I got it at + 4, try to get it at + 4 as the public seems to be more on Toledo than they are on the USAF Academy. You should be able to get + 4 if you shop around or have multiple outs., Won $3,185
Profit on the day: $3,185
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $82,828
I asked our guest handicappers to wear Air Force blue today in their videos: Go Falcons!
THE GOLDEN GOOSE CHECKS IN:
Paid Pick: 40 Dime selection is on Toledo over Air Force. The current line is averaging Toledo -3 in Vegas and offshore. If this line moves to 3 1/2 I advise to buy the 1/2 and lay -3. Never get beat by the hook. - Loss
Free Pick: Cal + 3 1/2 - Loss
Analysis
Don't trust this conference against anybody right now.
With Wyoming getting blown out and San Diego State losing outright as a favorite, here comes the Flyboys catching points.
Just don't see their run defense stopping Toledo.
In their game against Wyoming, the Owls of Temple boasted the #7 rush offense against Wyomings #115 rush defense.
It was over on the first drive when you saw the Temple offense run it right down Wyomings throat and it was game over.
Here we go again.
Toledo brings the #15 rush offense against the #113 rush defense of Air Force and when it comes time to get critical stops in this game to cover the number, it will be Toledo's ability to do just that and not Air force.
I am aware of the Air force run game ranked #2 in the country behind Army but I am confident Toledo will put 8 in the box and force Jefferson to throw all game long to beat them.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the fact the Flyboys are the 7th worst passing team in the country because they run it so well.
You take them out of their run game, get them behind, force them to throw and you will own them.
Just ask Notre Dame, who jumped on them early and beat them 59-33.
Lastly, watching Wyoming get shredded by Temple in every single facet of the game I kept asking myself, how does Air Force lose to Wyoming 25-17 at home?
I mean, Wyoming couldn't stop their grandmothter running the football yet Air Force couldn't move the ball at all.
The difference in this game will be the Toledo offense and their ability to move the ball on the ground and in the air. There is a reason they are the 8th best offense in the country.
The best player on the field belongs to Toledo in Eric Paige and when you have an offense as good as Toledo's is and the best player on the field as well, the right side is the team out of the MAC.
When the smoke clears, Toledo pulls away with big plays from Paige, maybe even a special teams score as well and pulls away in the 2nd half.
The bottom line is this: I trust a Toledo offense that went into Temple and shredded the 12th best defense in the country, on their field 36-13.
Today, they face the 75th best defense on a neutral field and although Air Force may stay close for awhile, they don't have the passing game to sustain them for 60 minutes versus Toledo.
Of the 8 Toledo wins, 7 were by 7 points or more with the other a 3-point win over Western Michigan.
I'm very confident this victory tonight will be by 7 points or more as this small favorite grabs a big win for their new coach and sets the table for good things in 2012.
The big MAC notches their 3rd bowl in in 4 games this afternoon.

UPDATE: Today the sports monitor plays went 4-1 at max unit value. And those were all given out free, LOL! One other capper gave out one pick, a heavy favorite in hockey. Those cappers over there sure like to guard their picks, can't wait to see the updated top capper list when it comes out tomorrow. Funny stuff!
------
I just checked in with my new sports monitor. You all know I lost yesterday. The joke is that I am again the Number 1 handicapper the last seven days, now with even a higher win percentage. If you are new here (Nevada residents only please) the funny part is that all I have been doing is following Indian Cowboy and Fading the Golden Goose. I guess that is enough to make you the top capper, LOL. There was only two of us over there who posted free picks yesterday. Of course I give out all the picks free when I post my selections. Sometimes their lines are stale, but the monitor is free. Funny, huh. The truth is I can't seem to get to my $100,000 profit goal, mainly because I got off what brought me to the dance. My biggest competition seems to be Ray Polacco. Bring it on Ray! LOL, I couldn't make this up:
Here Porky Pig is doing his Stu Feiner impersonation, wearing Air Force blue of course!

TUESDAY: 33 Dime Loss on the Over 196.5 in the Trailblazers/Kings Game, We Lose a Handicapper
The sports handicapping community is mourning the loss of Cheetah. Cheetah died at the age of 80 Saturday of kidney failure. Many know him as an actor in the Tarzan movies. Few people know that after his acting days, he worked as a sports handicapper. He worked for Stu Feiner for many years before moving to Florida and handicapping there. He worked under many handicapping aliases, but was mostly known as "Mike Warren" and later "Sean Michaels." Cheetah will be greatly missed, for his humor and his NFL selections. RIP Cheetah.
Major fail tonight as the Trailblazers go over 100 points but the Kings get a lot less points than that. Down 33 dimes on the new betting week as my only bet loses. Mr. Lang loses another 55 dimes today and the Indian Cowboy is hot as usual, going 2-1 on his paid picks and winning his free pick.
I am due for a losing day and a losing week. My new sports monitor is ranking me as their top handicapper for the last 7 days (I have only been giving them picks a few days now. I don't bet all the picks I give the sports monitor, only what is here on the blog). Are those paid handicappers there that bad? No wonder the sports books here are so fancy. If you ever get the urge to pay someone for a sports pick, please lay down and stay there until the urge passes.
I am still chuckling, here is a screenshot. I am about the only one there that posts all their picks to the Free Section before the games go off. I can't stop laughing:

Analysis
Statisticaly speaking, one is more powerful than the other.
On one hand you have Tom O'Brien a rock solid 8-1 Straight Up in bowl games and on the other side you have Louisville 12-1 ATS last 13 against the ACC.
Something has got to give with both of these teams tonight and considering just how bad North Carolina got rocked last night, the Big East is looking good here.
It's no secret who has the better overall defense and that is Louisville and quite frankly I love their coach Charlie Strong.
Last time I checked, Strong has 2 national championship rings and O'Brien has none. Advantage Strong.
Down the stretch they couldn't score at Florida State getting shutout 34-0, put up 13 at home to the Tarlheels, lost at Boston College, needed a miracle comeback to beat Maryland.
Yes, they were impreessive beating Clemson but Clemson had no reason to play having already locked up the ACC championship game against V'Tech.
This Cardinal bunch has been in almost every single game this year as their 5 losses were by 7, 4, 7, 9 and 7.
Since that 9 point loss at Cincinnati on October 15th, they reeled off 5 of their last 6 games with the only loss at home to Pitt 21-14.
They've covered 7 of their last 8 games and Strong has this team peaking at just the right time.
The Louisville defense will be the difference as they step up and dominate much the way Missouri dominated the Tar Heels last night.
The small dog packs a big bark tonight.

MONDAY: I Am Up 30 Dimes Today: The Over 53 in the North Carolina/Missouri Independence Bowl Wins!
Welcome my fellow Nevada residents. Shocking as it may sound, I have just learned people outside our state are betting on sporting events! I am shocked!
I end the betting week with a very nice profit. This run has been like, unreal! I am WAY OVERDUE for my first losing week. I just hope I can make $100,000 in profit before I have my first losing week. Even if I lose all my profits, I still have my new Prius! Old handicappers never die, they just fade away!
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $79,962
Bet per dime: ($79,962 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $87.96
ITS 04:50 AM EASTERN MONDAY - INDIAN COWBOY FOLLOW PLAY: 30 Dimes in college football on the OVER 52.5 in the North Carolina/Missouri Independence Bowl game, 5:00 PM EST. Bet $2,639 (30 X $87.96). As I type this its 52 1/2 all over Vegas, except for one casino that has it at 53. 12:17 PM MONDAY UPDATE: Why does the line always seem to go against me? Most casinos now have this total at 53 even though there is drizzly conditions today. I got it at 52 1/2 Sunday, but for grading purposes I am using 53, as that is a number everyone can get, RESULTS: Won $2,399

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER AS MR. LANG HITS HIS 100 DIME TEASER
The Golden Goose (Brandon Lang) has a 100 dime play for Monday - a 2-Team 7 Point Teaser: Saints PK, Over 45.5, which he won. The Goose's free play is on North Carolina in the Independence Bowl, and it loses. I will post his expert analysis later....and analyze his analysis. I don't fade his teasers or parlays. I don't do teasers or parlays period. They are for losers. Lang does not gamble, he doesn't care if he is down 1,000 dimes in December or more than 6,000 dimes lifetime at his website. Now its just about screwing the Faders. The guy seems to have a deep seated need to make other people losers. That makes the Lang Fade golden!
Here is Lang's excuse yesterday for his latest 100 dime loss. Why doesn't he just say he screwed up putting out a teaser instead of just taking the Packers. He indicated they were going to blow out the Bears in his expert analysis. If he issued a teaser to screw up the faders just admit it. He acts like he is afraid of a big bet against the spread, like its his customer's last dime. “Scared money don't make no money.” His excuse for losing is just boilerplate now, all the same weasel words with just minor changes like the team names:
Here is the Golden Goose's analysis of his bet tonight. I will spare you my analysis of his analysis and instead head over to the Mirage. UPDATE: Mr. Lang was spot on in his analysis today:
Analysis
Not going to sweat the backdoor tonight.
Last night I was absolutely spot on with taking the Packers down to -5 1/2 saying a backdoor was going to come into play and it sure did.
What I didn't plan on was those two teams combing for 39 points in the 2nd half.
For that matter, how on gods earth does vegas make that total last night 42? Jesus, talk about a bad line.
Well tonight I love the Saints. Love Brees to have a flat out huge night against this Falcons defense.
Trust me when I tell you the Falcons are seeing an offense playing at a level unmatched by anybody in the NFL right now.
This isn't the Jags the Falcons are seeing tonight. It's not Blaine Gabbart they are seeing tonight. It's Drew "Fucking" Brees.
He is shredding people right now, especially at home.
Over his last 5 games he has thrown 16 touchdowns with not one INT. I guess that is the way things are supposeed to be when you are quoted as saying the following:
"I have never felt better in this offense as I do now."
The bottom line is I can't go against a team at home as hot as the Saints are offensively against anybody regardless of what the numbers say about this series.
Are the Falcons 8-2 ATS their last 10 December games? Yup. Is the favorite 0-5 ATS last 5 meetings between these two? Yup.
However, when you put up an average of 30 points a game on the year, come off putting up 42 on the road against the Vikings and that pass rush, I like my chances with you at home.
New Orleans is going to score at least 30 points tonight at home if not 34. So for me the million dollar question is can Atlanta get me at least 17? My answer is yes.
The only way to play this game tonight is take the Favorite down and the total down and go over and win your wager somwhere in the late 3rd quarter if not earlier.
These two combined for 49 at Atlanta and 51 points the last time they met on this field.
The hometeam comes marching in bigtime tonight.
----
The difference between picks and bets: I post all my picks to my sports monitor. They are available free before the game. Then I pick the best of the picks and give them a dime rating based on the latest information I have and these become my actual bets that are posted here on the blog. I do not bet all my picks. The less games you bet on, the better you will do in the long run. We just started at our sports monitor, see how we compare with the "pros" the last seven days on our picks. Remember, "play of the year" and "locks" are marketing gimmicks. FEMA Camp #7 in New Orleans has been reserved for handicappers employing these deceptive marketing practices.

SUNDAY: Merry Christmas Nevada! 20 Dimes Won Today on the Southern Illinois Salukis + 12!
Brandon Lang goes 0-3 on his paid plays Christmas Day losing 119.5 dimes on the day and is down 227.5 dimes on the week. Mr. Lang lost his free pick too:
What a great Christmas! I got an eye-Pad!
I am not fading Lang today, but I got 20 dimes on the Salukis +12 in college basketball. I love this game! Hope you and yours are having a great Christmas Day!
1:56 PM EST. UPDATE: The Xavier/Saluki game is being played in Hawaii at the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic. The Salukis lead the series with Xavier 1-0. Xavier is on a three game skid. The game is being carried live now on radio from Honolulu.
Its always good to thank God for what he has blessed us with. Mr. Lang went 2-3 yesterday, but still lost 120 dimes. But to the Faders, it was just another day at the office, for an easy 100 dime winner on Detroit. We thank you baby Jesus, for the Golden Goose, an angel by the name of Brandon Lang!
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $78,394
Bet per dime: ($78,394 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $86.23
ITS 12:43 PM EASTERN SUNDAY - INDIAN COWBOY FOLLOW PLAY: 20 Dimes in college basketball on the Southern Illinois Salukis + 12 against the Xavier Musketeers, 2:00 PM EST. Bet $1,725 (20 X $86.23). Try to get this better than + 12, but I am grading it at + 12, RESULTS: Won $1,568
FINAL SCORE: Xavier Musketeers 87 Southern Illinois Salukis 77
Profit on the day: 20 dimes or $1,568
Total profit since this blog started and today's ending balance: $79,962
THE GOLDEN GOOSE CHECKS IN (Lang starts the NBA season going 0-2 today and loses his big 75 dime teaser):
Lang Paid Plays:
75 Dime Dime selection is a 2-team 7-point teaser on the Packers and Under. The current line is averaging Green Bay -12 and the total is 42 in Vegas and offshore. Take the Packers down to -5 and the total up to 49 and go Under. - Lots and lots of time in the game, but this bet is already a Loss
10 Dime Play: NBA Money Move is on the Bulls over the Lakers. The current line is -4 in Vegas and offshore. - Loss
10 Dime Play: Mavericks +4.5 - Loss
Free Pick: Clippers 1st Half. - Loss
-----
Mr. Lang gives us his analysis:
The road team is a mess and I do mean a complete mess.
It all started to go bad when they lost Jay Cutler.
It continued to go bad when they found out Sam Hurd, their slot receiver they had signed to a 3-year deal turned out to be one of the biggest drug dealers in Chicago.
And now they have gone to a guy at QB who just a month ago was coaching high school football.
Are the Packers banged up on the offensive line? Sure they are. Are they without Greg Jennings? Sure they are.
But when you start losing to the Seattle Seahawks by 24 at home, you are not going on the road and beating the Packers.
Could this be a Packers blowout? Absolutely considering the fact that they have won every single home game by double digits with exception to the Saints in week one and the Bucs.
The Saints have an offense so I can see that one and the Bucs needed a backdoor score to still lose by 9.
They beat Denver by 26, the Rams by 21, the Vikings by 38, the Raiders by 30.
Do I see the Bears defense making a stand here? Sure, for awhile they will play very well but then comes a Bears turnover giving Green Bay a short field and BOOM…..a double digit Packer lead before you can blink.
I fully expect the Packers to rebound here in a big way considering they do not want to take this game for granted here and lose, thus having to beat Detroit next week for homefield advantage throughtout the playoffs.
If the Bears had Cutler it would be a no brainer to use the Bears and roll the dice.
However, with a guy at QB in Josh McCown who's career numbers are 35 TD's with 41 INT's doesn't give me the confidence the Bears can stay within single digits in this game tonight.
Can they sniff a backdoor in the 4th quarter? You better believe they can but all things considered, I will force McCown to come in here and play error free football to stay within a TD.
How big is the task facing McCown? Just as Kelli Clemens, who went on the road with the Rams and got shutout.
I know the Packers defense has been gashed but they are a different beast at home and they will step up and play well because if you think they are going to get beat by McCown, then you don't know the pride of this bunch.
The only way to go is the home team and take the total up and go under based on the implosion of this Bears offense.
Cheesheads roll on Christmas day.
-----
My analysis of Mr. Lang's analysis: You can see above that Brandon loves the Packers. He is hinting at a Packer's blowout. Why does he not just put up a 100 dime pick on the Packers against the spread? Why does he have to sabotage it by creating a teaser?

The Brandon Lang "Expert Analysis" of his paid picks. I put this after the big game was over, I did not want to let his analysis keep you off the Lions today. Brandon Lang was down 120 dimes today and so far on the week Mr. Lang is down 108 dimes:
ANALYSIS
This team owns December.
I don't know what happens the first 3 months of the football season under Norv Turner but you get this group to the month of December and it's on like Donkey Kong.
Since he became coach of San Diego his Chargers are 17-2 SU in the Xmas month. I am talking about only 2 losses this month.
To put it bluntly, you don't go against the Chargers in December.
Although they face a very difficudt task against the resurging Lions, a closer look shows the Chargers should have no problem outscoring this young Detroit bunch today.
in 2 of the last 3 weeks they have faced the #4 toal defense in the NFL in the Jags and the #3 total defense in the Ravens and they put up 38 and 34 points respectively.
Today they face the #18 Lions who have been torched this year by teams who have no where near the offensive firepower as the Chargers.
The Bears put up 37, the Panthers 35, the Raiders 27 and the Vikings 28.
This Charger bunch is healthy for the first time since week 1 and across the board this is just a bad matchup for this Lion bunch.
I just don't see this Lions defense being able to do something a pair of top 5 defenses couldn't: Stop this Charger offense right now.
There will be points but the difference in the game will be Rivers and the Chargers offense making more plays down the stretch to continue their December magic.
This small puppy barks loudly this afternoon.
ANALYSIS
Now to a pair of road teams in the role of small favorite.
I have always said it doesn't matter where you play in the NFL, if you are a defense that can't stop the run facing a running team, you are in trouble.
Enter the matchup of the Broncos and the Bills.
Buffalo is in a free fall of epic porportions since facing the Jets at home back on November 6th with a record of 5-2 and the world was such a happy place.
How quickly their world crumbled after the Jets hammeered them 27-11 and the Bills haven't won again since.
Over their last 7 games they have lost by margins of 37 at Dallas, 27 at Miami, 4 at Jets, 6 at home to Tennessee, 27 at San Diego and 7 last week at home to Miami.
This game is a case of one team playing for their playoff life while the other scratches it's head saying to themselves how it went so bad so fast.
Broncos roll by 7 or more.
As for the Niners, if Rex Grossman and the Redskins can come in here and figure out a way to win, I'm confident the Niners can do that as well.
I am aware of the Monday night letdown facing the Niners but I am also aware of their bid for a 1st round bye and a home playoff game.
You don't think Jim Harbaugh knows the importance of this game? He knows nobody is beating him at home. NOBODY.
His team takes care of business today and all that is left is the Rams on the road to lock up homefield advantage until the NFC Championship game.
And who knows, maybe the Saints or Eagles or Dallas or Giants go upset the banged up Packers on the road and the Niners host the NFC title game.
It's been a great run for the Seahawks but the linemove is showing a lot of Seattle money and if you want to put your money in the hands of Tavaris Jackson with no running game, so be it.
You take Lynch out of the game which the Niners will do and force Seattle to put this game in the hands of Jackson which they will, it's advantage Niners all day long.
The better team in a near pickem is the only way to go as San Francisco continues their winning ways ATS moving to a league best 12-2-1 ATS.
This team pays out like an ATM machine one more time.
ANALYSIS
One of the most ridiculous trends you will ever see involves the Chiefs and Raiders.
The road team in this series has covered 15 of the last 16 with a push courtesy of the Chiefs rolling into Oakland and covering the number in the first meeting this year.
I'm sorry folks but you give me a trend like that and the fact the Chiefs are coming off beating the undefeated Packers the week before and it's letdown city USA.
Oakland needs to win out and get a Denver stumble to get in the playoffs but truth be told, they can't worry about what Denver is doing.
They need to handle their business today and next week and let the rest of the chips fall where they may.
As I have said involving these two teams the last few years, the road team and the points is the only way to go.
Ride the 15-0-1 streak all day long this afternoon.
Lastly, I can't pass up points with the Eagles today.
When they met the first time this year I have never seen the Eagles dominate the Cowboys the way they did that night.
It was a 34-7 destruction in Philly and now the Eagles have their swagger back and their playoff hopes are still there.
They beat Dallas today, the Jets beat the Giants and next week they beat Washington at home while the Giants beat the Cowboys.
Stranger things have happened in the NFL but as good as Philly is playing right now, I can't go against them.
I will not jump on this Cowboys bandwagon after they beat who???? The Succaneers???? Come on now.

FRIDAY:I Lost 22 Dimes on the Manhattan Jaspers + 7 Visiting the George Mason Patriots
Total profit since this blog started and today's beginning balance: $72,871
Bet per dime: ($72,871 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $80.16
ITS 12:15 PM EASTERN - INDIAN COWBOY COMP FOLLOW PLAY: 20 Dimes in college basketball on the Manhattan Jaspers +7 visiting the George Mason Patriots, 7:00 PM EST. Bet $1,603 (20 X $80.16). All the casinos here have the game on the board at +7, we are grading it at that. RESULTS: Lost $1,603
FINAL SCORE: George Mason Patriots 81 Manhattan Jaspers 61
Loss on the day: 22 dimes or $1,603
Profit since this blog started and today's ending balance: $71,268
Indian Cowboy has went 41-24 (63%) on comp plays the last 65 Days and he's hit 4 Straight (AZ State/Boise State over yesterday) comp plays.
You probably noticed I am off the Lang Fade for now. I believe the Fade has been temporarily jinxed. Trust me on this. I would not be surprised if Lang goes on a run now, he won his 30 dime bet yesterday, glad I got off the Fade for now. Besides the temporary jinx in effect, Lang's paid pick today is a lousy 10 dimer. He is not that bad on 10 dimers this year.

TUESDAY: Now That I Ran Everyone Off, We Are Marshall! We Can Not Be Defeated!
This is for Carl down at the Mirage. He told me I was a coward for quitting winners. He said I should have at least one losing week and then quit. I told him I ran everyone off and got rid of any links to this site. But he is gonna introduce to to his cousin, Carmen. So this is just for Carl:

Carl, McConahay played Lang in 2 For the Money. The circle is completed:
Carl, this is the guy I fade. He is pretty hot with his free picks, but is a disaster on paid picks. Its strange, he is good on free picks and 10 dimers. But he has went 0-3 on his football 100 dimers this season. Thats why Ted turned in his Steelers bet before the game when he found out Lang was on it. And Ted is from Pittsburgh, lol. Ted calls it "the Lang Curse." Lang has lost 11 straight bets in a row, and is down almost 6,000 dimes at his website. Lang's free pick is over in the first half in the Marshall/FIU football game:

MONDAY: I Lose 55 dimes on Western Illinois - 1 1/2, Final Score was UIC 57 Western Illinois 56, I Failed You Kind Reader, This is My Last Post
Goodbye and Good Luck!
I close out the week up 112 dimes as I lose 55 dimes today on Western Illinois - 1 1/2. The final score was UIC 57 Western Illinois 56. At the end of the game the Flames went on a 9-1 run. The Leathernecks were unable to make the last two free throw attempts and in the last seconds of the game they just gave up the ball before they had a chance to get fouled and make some free throws. It was a strange ending for those that watched the game. The game I am sure the game was not fixed; but it looked very funny to me. I am trying to get video showing the last three possessions. I was suspicious of the line movements during the day, and the fact that several sports books took the game off the board. I will NEVER bet a Horizon League game again. UPDATE: Even the Indian Cowboy thought that game was "fishy."
Brandon Lang goes 0-3 on the day and has lost 11 straight paid plays in a row. I am such a loser getting off the Lang Fade. I made a mistake. I studied too hard. I got you off the fade. Instead of hundreds of dimes ahead on the week, I have to settle for 112 dimes. But Lang studies the games, has access to other handicappers, even makes writeups justifying his picks. A rock or goldfish cannot be this bad picking games, let alone a sentient human being. I SHOULD OF JUST FADED HIM STRAIGHT UP. This guy could go 0-20, regardless of the astronomical odds. I truly failed you today kind reader, so this will be my last post. Sure I was a winner every week since this blog started, but I could of done much better. I have been trying the last hour to flip 11 tails in a row with my Kennedy half dollar. Its so hard, the best I got was 7 tails in a row. How does the Langster do it?

SUNDAY: Up 100 Dimes, Patriots - 9 or Better, Final Score: Patriots 41, Broncos 23
I won my only play today, up 100 dimes on the New England Patriots -9 or better. Thanks to Brandon Lang who is now 0-3 on his 100 dime football picks this season. I am ahead 167 dimes on the week. Lang is down 255 dimes on the day and is down 504 dimes on the week and is in total nuclear meltdown mode. He is just throwing dimes out now, absolutely no money management. You can tell he does not gamble. He needs to take a week off after going 0-8 on his paid picks this weekend. Lang is now down 5,855.45 dimes lifetime at brandonlang.com. Lang loses his free play too. Have a good night.

Rip Off Report: Easy Street Sports Book and Casino in Costa Rica Refuses to Play Winning Player, Pay the Man You Welches!
The Wizard of Odds reports on the EZ Street Sports Book ripoff, condoned by the RX Sports Site. They are claiming the player is playing with perfect strategy, but even with perfect strategy play the casino still has the edge. It is clear they will do and say anything to avoid paying a winner. What a ripoff!:

Tuesday: I Am Taking My Starting Bankroll Off the Table, I Am Playing Just With My Profits Starting Today, Lost 33 Dimes on the Chippewas + 17 1/2
Since starting this blog, I am up $64,406. I am taking my original stake of $100,000 out of action and am now playing with just my profits. Same money management, its just no longer a need to risk my starting bankroll. My risk of an overall "lifetime" loss is now zero. I will never be down a penny or more lifetime, unlike tout Brandon Lang who is down more than 5,000 dimes. Money management is about adjusting for risk, and when you can, eliminating the potential for loss entirely.
Today's beginning balance: $164,406
Withdrawing our original starting balance: $100,000
New Today's beginning balance: $64,406
Bet per dime: ($64,406 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $70.85
Back to the well:
INDIAN COWBOY FOLLOW PLAY: 30 Dimes in college basketball on Central Michigan Chippewas + 17 1/2 visiting the Minnesota Gophers, 9:00 PM EST, Bet $2,125 (30 X $70.85) (NOTE: I am grading this at + 17 1/2, this is widely available), RESULTS: Minnesota 76 Central Michigan 56; Lost $2,125
Loss on the day: Down 33 dimes, Down $2,125
Total profit since this blog started and ending balance: $62,281
-----
INDIAN COWBOY:
Paid Picks:
4* College Basketball, #545. Take Central Michigan +17.5 over Minnesota, 9:00 PM EST., Loss
4* NHL, Over 5.5 Goals Carolina vs. Toronto, 7:00 PM EST. Loss
Free Pick: Florida Atlantic + 13 visiting Mississippi State Win

BRANDON LANG:

Free pick: Cal/Irvine - Wyoming Under the total of 133. Win
Lang to his customers:
"Just unreal. So close to a monster bust out week. A play or two away only to come up short.
The rest of December is going to be monumental and the tear I'm about to go on will be legendary and I will have the last laugh to close out this year.
Just watch me."

Monday Night: 30 Dimes on the Portland State Vikings +13.5 (Grading it at + 13) Covers, FINAL SCORE: Oregon 79 Portland State 70
Today's beginning balance: $159,618
Bet per dime: ($159,618 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $175.58
INDIAN COWBOY FOLLOW PLAY: 30 Dimes in college basketball on the Portland State Vikings + 13 1/2 visiting the Oregon Ducks, 10:00 PM EST, Bet $5,267 (30 X $175.58) 7:36 PM UPDATE: We will be grading this play at +13 as the line has moved down at most of the casinos, if you got it early, you were able to get it at 13 1/2., FINAL SCORE: Oregon 79, Portland State 70, Won $4,788
Profit on the day: $4,788
Today's ending balance: $164,406
NOTE: I am way overdue for a losing day. I made $23,315 last week, up 158 dimes, NOT COUNTING my profits from my 100 dime bet Sunday on the Bears + 3 1/2, as I graded that as a push to make my picks comparable to a paid service. Compare my results to paid tout Brandon Lang, who was down 8 dimes on the week. Never pay a tout for a pick. When you do you feel like you got to bet or fade all their plays. You don't have to bet every day. It was a good week:
Tuesday, 12/06/2011 - Up 50 dimes

Sunday: Push (It was at Bears + 3 1/2 at half the books early here but we are "grading" it at + 3)
I am up on the week by over 100 dimes, so what better time to step up to the plate and put some money on a heavily bet game. One that I can move money without changing the line. My sole play today is the Chicago Bears +3 (we are grading it at +3, but try to get it at 3 1/2, I almost never buy the half point). I am betting 11% of my bankroll today.
Lets light the bong and listen to the game on streaming audio. 7:00 PM EST UPDATE: What a day! Thanks to Brandon Lang, what a guy! In fact, we just sent Brandon a deluxe gift package of Omaha Steaks! Guy, you earned it! Not counting this as a profit day for blogging purposes, but I am buying a new Buick tomorrow with today's win. What do you think of the new Lacrosse model? I love the color!
Today's beginning balance: $159,618
Bet per dime: ($159,618 divided by 1,000 units) times 1.1 = $175.58
BRANDON LANG FADE PLAY: 100 Dimes in the NFL on the Chicago Bears +3 (try to get + 3 1/2, we will grade this at +3) visiting the Denver Broncos, 4:05 PM EST, Bet $17,558 (100 X $175.58), RESULTS: Denver Broncos 13 Chicago Bears 10 in OT, PUSH
Profit on the day: $0 (NOTE: I sure hope everybody got this game at Bears + 3 1/2. You got to shop around and get the best number. Here in Las Vegas half the casinos had this at + 3 1/2 early. Have multiple outs if you are in Vilnius! You got to do the work, then the bong! Its my first rule: GET THE BEST AVAILABLE LINE! Why you ask do we grade this as +3. Hell if I know, I cant add another $15 grand on here, it looks unreal!)
