UPDATE, THE NEXT BRANDON LANG
I got Dom'd tonight lol. Meet Mr. Dom Chambers, prime Fade material. I will no longer be making picks but fading Mr. Chambers.
Email from Dom Chambers:
My 70 Dime play is on the Atlanta Braves on the run line against the Miami Marlins. Checking the sports books at 7 a.m. and the Braves on the run line are +110 underdog. Always shop around to get the best possible price.
ANALYSIS:
For the Braves, Ben Sheets starts and he has been nearly untouchable in his three starts. He has given up only one run in 18 innings pitched and is 3-0. In all three games, the Braves would have covered the run line.
Sheets has allowed only 13 hits and five walks, while striking out 15 in those three games.
The Braves have won seven straight, and would not have covered the run line only once in those seven games.
They are getting the hitting and pitching.
The Marlins, on the other hand, are struggling, losing five of their last seven games.
To try and shake things up, the Marlins have sent Carlos Zambrano to the bullpen and made Wade LeBlanc a starter. This will be his first start of the season. In 15 2/3 innings, his ERA is 1.15 and a WHIP of 0.892.
That's not bad, but there is a difference between starting and making relief appearances. Don’t expect LeBlanc to keep those kind of statistics as a starter.
Offensively, the Marlins are only averaging 3.7 runs a game, while the Braves are averaging 4.6 runs.
The Braves are home, have the better pitching and the better hitting.
This is a good spot to take the Braves.

This certainly makes it more enjoyable to root for my home team.
ReplyDeleteGoFalcons! Braves are the real deal! Got to love today's pitching matchup. Vegas is finally catching on though, LOL. Good luck to us today!
