Mr.  Lang's game analysis:

This is going to be a live dog all year long.

When Ron English took over this program back in 2009, he decided it was going to be trial by fire and give kids playing time right away.

Of all division 1 football programs in the country that year it was English and Eastern Michigan that started more true freshman than any other team in america.

In 2009 they went 0-12, in 2010 they went 2-10 and last year they went 6-6.

Guess what folks, they have finally grown up.

Offensively they are going to be fine with senior QB Alex Gillet leading the way along with senior running back Dominique Sherrer and 3 of their top 4 receivers back.

The key is their offense line which returns 9 of their top 10. This offense is going to be good.

Defensively, they struggled early on but got much better down the stretch holding N.Illinois to season lows in yardage and points in an 18-12 road loss to end the year.

As for Ball State, they return 5 starters back on defense, a defense which ranked 119th in the country last year and were outgaineid by 150 yards in their last 7 MAC games.

Those 5 starters are going to have their hands full with this E. Michigan attack tonight.

Unlike Eastern Michigan, which has been on the uptick every year since English has taken over, Ball State has headed the other way under 2nd year coach Pete Lembo but dissension and a 2-6 finish will do that to a program.

Last but not least, Ball State is 1-7 ATS last 8 as a home favorite and I truly feel the wrong team is favored.

Eastern Michigan has the better offensive, the better defense, the better coach and they are getting points.

This little doggy barks loudly in Indiana tonight.

  1. Im sure you are looking to close our your line, but do you think now that lang is back the labby or dimes is more effective?

  3. Right now I think the Labby is more effective. Lang has had some luck since the first of the year on his big games. Remember then too he lost a lot of 5 dime plays that were were playing on the Labby like 50 dimes, etc. My focus is on closing this Labby Line. My handicapping skills are worse than fading the tried and true, the one, the only, MR. NFL himself, Brandon Lang!

  4. Good point. Labby it is! For what its worth, seems that a majority of cappers are on Vandy (+). The public seems to be on S. Carolina not sure that means much.

  7. who ever we fade gets fired. Rick i think its best to stop the labby line here. as football is starting. We should take the profit out and start again with 10k bankroll. so we dont end up losing up the profit in the tough mlb season. in this labby we're only losing $38.

lang and dom helped up hit like over 65% which is incredible... i think its best stop and start for a new labby for a new fade or something... what are your thoughts?
