Good morning Patrick! Seems like following DeMarco and fading Lang is not a bad strategy after all.
ReplyDeleteRolli is so streaky! Have to tail at the right time. Hopefully we can follow that recipe this week to the $! I ended up 6-6 for the week -0.60% & i'm 27-20 L4 wk +5.00% to start 2014.
DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteThink about start fading lang, isnt it best fade him in NFL and College football? or am i wrong?
Fading Lang is actually best in NFL and college football because you can fade him using his dime units. Its easier to move large amounts of money in football and harder to do in college basketball. Lang is actually ahead on the season in college basketball but is down big time overall this year dime wise.
DeleteAnother good strategy is to bet against the Portland Trailblazers. I was thinking about it strongly yesterday but they were getting some points but they failed to cover again, losing 103-88 to Golden State. I got to quit analyzing things to death and just pull the dam trigger!
ReplyDeleteI believe Langtard won 17-19 at one point last yr in cbb and still lost $ for the yr in hoops! He got murdered in march. It may be his best sport and still loses.
ReplyDeleteFriday, I said "Buying opportunity my ass!" Checking to see how the Dow is doing today, I see its down about 58 points. You won't be hearing much talk about us being in a bear market till we see a lot more damage. By then, a lot of people will be hurt. Look for some big panic selling days ahead.

Sorry for not being able to post consistently, just my schedule and when I get the email.
DeleteBut if you are wondering.
He is 18W-8L is CBB and 15W-11L in NBA for the month of JAN so far.
I also have been playing his CBB (sometimes) at the half. those have gone 18W-5L-1P for JAN.
Now if you actually were to play per his unit play, one would be up 55 units for jan so far.

ReplyDeleteI'm on a 28-5 Winning Run with Freebies...
A complete mismatch on paper, I'm playing contrarian tonight in the NBA with my free pick, as I look to the Milwaukee Bucks (8-35 SU, 15-28 ATS) plus the points against the Los Angeles Clippers (31-15 SU, 27-19 ATS).
The Clippers want nothing more than to get home after being on the road for most of the second half of January. This will be their seventh straight road game since the 17th - that means this is their seventh road game in 11 days - and they will be going through the motions, knowing it won't take much to get the win tonight.
Los Angeles has been to New York, Indianapolis, Detroit, Charlotte, Chicago and Toronto, and is currenly 4-2 on this junket. It was off yesterday after back-to-back wins in Chicago and Toronto, but remember, the Clippers also endured a loss in Charlotte to the lowly Bobcats during this East coast tour.
The Bucks aren't doing anything impressive this season, I know this, but they've been competitive spot times, and tonight they may be at an advantage in catching the Clippers off guard. The home team has covered seven of the last nine meetings.
Your free play is on Milwaukee.

Holy shit Rolli's imaginary friend is on fire!
Ugh. Only game I like on any board tonight is the Clippers. When getting 10 or more points (signally a game that should be a blowout), the Bucks are 1-8 ATS this season - the only ATS win coming against Houston who beat them by 10 when the spread was 13.5 . I'm on the Clippers for a small bet tonight - FWIW.
ReplyDeleteFWIW - while I've not been hot on NBA/NCAABB/NHL this year (unlike NFL/NCAAFF/MLB), I'm 10-5 and up nearly 1000 units on RX in the last week for NBA.
DeleteDam nice job Chevy!!
DeleteThanks. I really am trying to work on NBA and college hoops, as well as NHL. I've always been good at all football, and baseball. It's time to buckle down on these other sports. I've started out pretty bad on them, but have been doing better recently. Especially with NBA. Here's hoping I can keep it going. Can't wait for baseball! And DAMN am I gonna miss football.

My 100 Dime Pro Basketball Winner for tonight is on the OVER in the Pacific Division showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors in Oaktown. And as I release this game at 11 a.m. eastern time, I see the consensus line for this huge NBA showdown being 212.5 points.
Brett atkins 30-6 freebie run
ReplyDeleteAfter improving to 30-6 with my free plays, scoring a win with Memphis last night in college basketball, I'm playing the New York Knicks minus the points over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
UNLV-graduate and former No. 1 pick Anthony Bennett finally came alive in his last game for the Cavaliers. Tells me he should be done for awhile now, and won't be as effective for at least five more games. Isn't that how it generally works? Honestly, the Cavs have been nothing short of disappointing all season, and has a tough chore in front of them, in taking on the Knicks in this one.
Meanwhile, the Knicks have suddenly caught fire and are playing well again. It's been like night and day with this team, and right now things are looking for bright for Carmelo and company.
New York, which won five in a row earlier this month, proceeded to lose the next five games, and have since bounced back with three straight victories, is in after smoking its rival Boston Celtics a 114-88 defeat Tuesday, behind Anthony's 24 points. Over his last three contests, Anthony has tallied 121 points, averaging 40.3 points per game.
I know there might be worry about the Knicks looking ahead to a big matchup with Miami on Saturday night, but the Heat haven't exactly looked all that good of late, and the Knicks are 4-1 against Miami in the regular season the past two seasons.
Look for New York to roll past Cleveland tonight.

ReplyDeletehello all. if anyone can point me out to a website that can supply me with the following information I would be very thankful. I want to know what the ats % of teams that are favored cover the second half spread when the second half spread is= or > the game spread. for example if the home ream is favored by 6 points for the game and they are favored by = > than 6 for the second half spread what is the ats win % for those teams? if anyone can direct me to a calculator of some sort it would be awesome. thanks all.

DeleteRolli's imaginary friend
ReplyDeleteAfter improving to 31-6 with my free plays, scoring a win with the Knicks last night in pro basketball, I'm playing the Under in the Manhattan/Iona game tonight in college hoops.
Look, I can appreciate how scrappy some of these mid-major teams are, and I know how competitive they can get with one another during conference play, but I don't see these two rivals getting into the 160s tonight - not going to happen.
I know these two have gone over in three of the last four meetings, but the average tally over the last five meetings is 143.4 points per game. That's nearly 20 points less than tonight's posted number.
This is too much of a rivalry to think we won't see a defensive battle, and more of a physical tussle. Neither one of these teams wants to get in a shootout, as they both know the path to victory is by shutting down the other.
I'm looking more like 150-152 point finish, not anywhere near the 160-point mark.
