SUNDAY: $230 BET ON THE KANSAS CITY ROYALS RUN LINE +1 1/2 -115 OVER THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX, 2:10 PM EASTERN START TIME

I continue to fade Lang using the Labby Line.

After winning my last bet on yesterday, my Labby Line today is X - 10 - 10 - 10 - X, so I will be betting to win 10 + 10 or betting to win 20 dimes. My bet is $230 on the Kansas City Royals Run Line +1 1/2 -115 over the Chicago White Sox to win $200 or 20 dimes.

If I win that bet, then my Labby Line on Monday will be: X - X - 10 - X - X. Since I just have one number left, I would start a new Labby Line of 11 - 11 - 11 - 11 as my bankroll will have increased to $11,000..

If I lose today's bet my Labby Line for tomorrow will be: X - 10 - 10 - 10 - X - 23.

Mr. Lang's Analysis:

All about the young righty staying red hot on the road in what I feel will be another dominating effort.

In 8 of his last 9 outings, Sale is 7-0 with a major league best 1.67 ERA giving 2 runs or less in 8 of those 9 outings.

He went into the all-star break shutting down the Rangers to the tune of 1 run on 5 hits over 7 1/3 innings of a 19-2 White Sox win.

With the White Sox coming off the 6-3 loss last night, I look for Sale to shut down the Royals all day long and for their offense to tee off on Mendoza.

Since returning to the rotation, Mendoza is 1-2 with a 3.26 ERA in 5 starts getting a total of 7 runs support.

The bottom line is Mendoza will make mistakes, the White Sox will capitalize and Sale will shut them down all day long.

Perfect spot to take the big road favorite, run line him down to a very good price and cash a winning ticket.

I also love the fact the White Sox are 8-2 their last 10 versus the AL Central and 20-8 their last 28 as a road favorite.

You throw in the Royals a dismal 1-7 their last 8 versus the AL Central and it's all systems go for the road team.

Roll with a 2-run victory for the better team today.

  4. Shaneel: Thanks for your input. I added or adjusted 19 cents to get rid of the pennies and the new Labby Line will be 11 - 11 - 11- 11.
Thanks for pointing that out to me.

  5. I thought I understood labby lines, but why are you bumping from 10 to 11 dimes?

    ReplyDelete
  6. its going to be 11 because, every time his BR increases to 1k it will go up 1 dime. meaning he started with 10k br, thats 10 dimes

after todays win his BR is 11k so it'll be 11 dimes from tomm.

HOPEFULLY by next week it'll be 12k so his labby line will be 12 dimes.

the blogger has a GREAT skill of managing his bankroll and compounding! thats why i love following him!

  7. Okay sorry for more questions but are dimes a fixed amount or a percentage of your BR? Also, can you ever potentially go back down to 10 dimes?

  8. Dimes can be anything you want. In my case one dime is equal to $10 as my original bankroll is $10,000 on this fund. So $10.000 divided by 1,000 equals $10 per dime.

My bets will go up automatically as my bankroll goes up and my Labby Line moves from 10 - 10 - 10 - 10 to 11 - 11 - 11 - 11 to 12 - 12 - 12 - 12, etc. But my dollar amount per dime stays the same, I just bet more dimes as my bankroll goes up.

    Yes I could potentially go back to 10 - 10 - 10 - 10.

  9. Thanks blogger. This is all really helpful.

Could you hypothetically make the numbers in the labby line 1% of your BR, as that is essentially what you are doing anyways? Or just use 10 dimes but 10 dimes = 1% of your BR?

Just trying to get a full understanding of this. Thanks for all the help.

  10. Sure, why not? That is not a bad idea at all, as you are increasing the power of compounding here. There is room for all kind of variation here, I would do what you are most comfortable with. I am presenting the Labby Line as I understand it. I tried the Labby line for about a month before I started posting again here. I have not had a losing Labby Line yet, fingers crossed.

  12. I want to go back to 10 - 10 - 10 - 10 by doubling my bankroll. Then I will take off the table my original $10,000 bankroll and start playing only with the house's money and back to 10 - 10 - 10 - 10 lines.
